The follow-up date controls when you are reminded of an open offer. Based on this date, Quidly automatically performs several steps for you.
The Daily Automatic Check
Once a day, the system checks all stored data. If a follow-up date is reached and the offer status is “Open”, the following happens:
-
The status automatically changes to “Follow-up Due”. (This is recorded as a system entry in the history).
-
The “Follow Up Now” button appears.
-
The offer moves to the “Upcoming” list.
Note: This automatic process does not apply to offers with the statuses “In Progress”, “Paused”, “Won”, or “Lost”. These statuses remain unchanged.
When the Date Is Automatically Deleted
If you set an offer to “Won” or “Lost”, Quidly automatically removes the follow-up date. The offer disappears from your list of upcoming tasks, and you will receive no further reminders.
Manually Changing or Removing the Date
You can adjust the follow-up date at any time:
-
In the offer overview, click directly on the current date, select a new one, and press Enter.
-
Alternatively, open the offer's detail page and change the date using the Edit function.
If you completely delete the date from the field, the offer disappears from the “Upcoming” list. It remains in the system with its current status.
Automatic Suggestion During PDF Upload
If you upload an offer as a PDF or photo, Quidly automatically sets the follow-up date to “7 days from today”. You can overwrite this value directly before saving. (You can define this default period for your business in the settings).
