As a German product, Quidly is designed from the ground up with data protection and GDPR compliance in mind. Here's an overview of the most important protective measures.
Encryption

Data Transmission: Your connection to Quidly is encrypted end-to-end (like online banking). The system does not allow an unsecured connection.

Storage: All uploaded documents and database entries are stored encrypted on our servers.
Server Location Europe (No US Transfer)
Your data does not leave the European Union. Our servers for the app and the database are located in Frankfurt am Main and Dublin. AI processing also runs exclusively on servers in Frankfurt. No operational data is transferred to the USA or other third countries.
Cookies Without Annoying Banners
Quidly currently uses only technically necessary cookies. These ensure, for example, that you remain logged in, save your chosen language, and protect forms from spam. Since we do not use advertising tracking, the usual cookie banner is not required.
Automatic Backups
The system regularly creates database backups. In the unlikely event of a system failure, we restore the data from the last backup. These backups are also stored securely within the EU.
Forgot Password or Compromised Account?
Have you forgotten your password or are you concerned that someone has unauthorized access? Use the "Forgot Password" function during login to immediately set a new password. Under "My Profile", you also have the option to actively log out from all devices at any time.
