You can delete your Quidly account yourself at any time. You can find the options under My Profile → Danger Zone.
Depending on your role in the system, there are two ways:
1. Delete only your own account
(Available for all users)
Your login will be removed immediately, and you will receive a confirmation email.

What happens to your data? Your name in the system will be replaced by the note „Deleted User“.

Why is the history retained? If you have processed offers, your colleagues must still be able to understand what happened with the offer. Your notes and activities therefore remain visible but are no longer attributable to you personally (fully GDPR-compliant).

Exception for the last admin: If you are the only admin of the business, you cannot simply delete your account. You must first give admin rights to another user or delete the entire business.
2. Delete the entire business
(Available for admins only – requires confirmation with the word „DELETE“)
This action irrevocably removes the business and all associated data from the system:

All offers, contacts, and uploaded documents (PDFs, photos) will be deleted.

All employee accounts will be removed immediately.

All team members will receive an information email so that no one is surprised.

You will be logged out immediately after clicking.
Important: There is no trash can
In Quidly, deletion means permanent deletion. We cannot restore deleted accounts, files, or businesses – not even immediately after clicking.
Automatic Deletion for Inactivity
If you no longer use Quidly, we will automatically delete your account after 180 days. This ensures data minimization. We will inform you by email after 30 and 90 days beforehand. A simple login is sufficient to stop the deletion.
